Liaison Officer

Established in 2015, Muhan Pty Ltd has been operating arecruitment business based in Emerald, 4720 Queensland. The business has beensourcing and supplying a wide range of skilled, semi-skilled and low-skilledworkers to leading farmers/fruit growers within the regional Queensland and Victoria.Muhan is an approved Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme employerwhich enables the business to hire low/semi-skilled workers from 9 PacificIslands and Timor-Leste to perform seasonal work for the Australia primaryproducers.

Muhan is currently seeking for a full-time Liaison Officer who canprovide professional administrative support for two Directors at Muhan. Workingclosely with the farm workers and growers at various level, the Liaison Officerwill be responsible for coordinating the placement of workers and acting as thepoint of contract for both business’ internal and external stakeholders. Thisposition will be based in Emerald, 4720 Queensland.

The salary offered is $70,000 - $75,000 per annum plussuperannuation.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Liaising with the grower clients’ workers at various level and coordinating the placement of workers for the business’ operations
• Acting as the point of contact among contract workers (up to 60) and external stakeholders (small to large scale of fresh produce growers within the regional Queensland and Victoria regions)
• Keeping and maintaining the workers’ profiles including work rights, skillset, licences, and other attributes
• Coordinating the workers placement as per the customer requirements and arranging for the required accommodations and flights under the Directors’ instructions
• Maintaining appointment diaries and making travel arrangements
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail, emails as well as the correspondence and maintaining records for the business contracts, notes and workers’ profiles
• Screening telephone calls and answering general inquiries
• Supervising other contractor workers’ performance records as per the Directors’ instructions
• Arranging for the occupational trainings for the subcontract workers if required

Theapplicant will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration would be highly regarded but not mandatory.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with seasonal workers from various countries.
• Excellent computer skills with an ability to become proficient with company software and programs.
