- $72,383.56 to $86,355.98 per annum plus 11% superannuation
- Permanent full-time, 35 hours per week with a three weekly RDO

About the role
Woollahra Libraries is seeking an enthusiastic Library Officer who is passionate about delivering exceptional Customer Service in our beautiful Libraries.
As a Library Customer Service Officer is a diverse and exciting role. You will work collaboratively in a friendly team environment to respond to customer enquiries, provide tech help, and support the Library Programs and Events team to deliver programs, including Children's storytimes.
About you.
You will be a library professional who demonstrates a high level of Customer Service and a can do attitude. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role and have had the opportunity to assist in the delivery of library programs. You will be confident with the use of a range of computer and technology systems so that you can provide customer assistance.
Essential Criteria
- Completion of a Library Technician Diploma from TAFE.
- Demonstrated experience in library operations.
- An enthusiastic and engaging approach to providing excellent Customer Service.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Competency in all MS office applications including word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
- Well-developed knowledge and skills in technology with the ability to assist customers in the use of such technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work both as a team member and independently, with proven time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to learning and continuous self-improvement as well as a positive approach to change, flexibility and adaptability in the work environment.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to EEO and WHS principles.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake the physical requirements of the position as outlined in section Seven (7) of the position description.
Desirable Criteria
- Current C class driver’s licence.
- Willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate.
- Experience in the delivery of Library events and programs.
