Permanent Full-time Opportunity (35-hour week) Salary from $64,298.52 - $74,725.04 per annum + 11% Superannuation + 3.5hrs on a Saturday every fortnight - Penalty Rates Applicable!
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional Customer Service? As a Customer Service Officer at Wingecarribee Public Libraries, you will be integral in providing high-level support and information to library visitors and members. Your role is crucial in ensuring visitors receive accurate and timely information, catering to their individual needs with a customer-centric approach.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum Diploma in Library and Information Services or equivalent and/or currently enrolled and working towards library qualifications allowing eligibility for Library Technician membership of ALIA
- Demonstrated Customer Service, delivering a customer centric approach, providing clear and accurate information to support and resolve customer enquiries
- Ability to network effectively with key stakeholders in offering support and solutions to deliver customer centric service
- Demonstrated knowledge of library functions including cataloguing, acquisitions, document delivery, reference and circulation.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices effectively, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable productivity to facilitate day- to-day operations.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills with the ability to deal with difficult situations
- Ability to work in isolation, independently as well as in a team environment and to prioritise tasks
- Experience in cash handling and reconciliation
