You will report to the Maintenance Manager and be required to make determinations in regard to major defects and discrepancies, recognise and report unsafe conditions and conduct certification and supervision of maintenance tasks.You will be required to participate in the delivery of quality services whilst maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and fellow workers.About you:To do this, you will be an appropriately licensed LAME on aircraft types maintained by VARA, have extensive industry experience in an Aircraft Maintenance role with the ability to display excellent analytical skills and have demonstrated supervisory experience.You will also have a good working knowledge of HSE requirements, demonstrated experience in superior customer service practices and have the ability to communicate with all levels of the engineering team.Your skills and experience will include:

• CASA B1 License with Type rating on F100, or A320, or B737
• Strong, analytical defect troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Proactive & diligent nature towards Aircraft Maintenance and housekeeping
• Sound Aircraft Maintenance hand skills
• Availability to change shifts, if required for the licensed position
• Valid ASIC and ADA (or ability to hold)
