Menzies Aviation Engineering is currently recruiting for CASA B1 licensed engineers with theB737NG, additional aircraft type ratings such as A320/A350/B787 and MAX will be an advantage. Training will be considered for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a Full Time Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join the growing team!
The position is to support long term contracts Menzies Aviation Engineering has with the international airlines and airfreight operators in Perth. You will be part of a team of engineers carrying out line maintenance, defect rectification and AOG repairs. We are looking for a keen, dynamic individual with the right attitude who wants to be part of a small but growing flexible friendly team. We offer a competitive remuneration package along with a flexible roster.
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Hold CASA B1 / NZ-CAA License
- Hold B737NG
- Have exercised license privileges within the last 24 months
- Be able to obtain an ASIC and ADA
- Eligible to work/ Live in Australia
- Must be based or willing to relocate to live in the Perth area.

- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster (shift work)
- Professional, approachable and warm in style with a strong attention to detail
- The ability to work at pace and meet critical deadlines
- Previous experience in the same or similar role for a minimum of 5 years within the aviation industry
- Effectively and efficiently work autonomously
- You will be extremely flexible and happy to get down into the detail and be operational
- Strong ability to problem solves and deliver solution-based outcomes
- Can anticipate needs, be agile and flexible
- Strong stakeholder services skills
- Effective and efficient time management skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, with a focus on detail
- Proficient ability to utilise the Microsoft Office suite
