This respected Financial Advisory firm is currently seeking an experienced Insurance Specialist to strengthen its team of dedicated Insurance Advisors and support staff. With two decades of industry presence, this company balances technological innovation with a solid market reputation.
In this role, you will focus on servicing and managing a portfolio of insurance clients and benefit from a smooth handover of clients by a relocating Senior Insurance Advisor. You will also get to collaborate with a proficient team of Client Service Officers and Paraplanners, all dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting client fact finds to identify client risk requirements and pre-assessing any underwriting conditions
- Development of risk insurance based strategies to meet client's needs and goals
- Delivery of recommendations to clients through presentation of Statements of Advice and supporting documentation
- Servicing an existing portfolio with the assistance of administrators and paraplanners
- Ensuring adequate compliance records are maintained
The ideal candidate is FASEA approved with a degree qualification, bringing a minimum of 3 years of experience in risk advisory or a strong paraplanning/Associate Advisor background. Proficiency in Xplan, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of insurance products, ownership structures, and tax implications are essential.
