The Role
The Finance Business Partner reports to the Senior Manager, Expense & Performance Management working in partnership with the MLC Life Insurance Finance team, wider business, and Nippon Life to analyse and provide timely information around expenses and broader performance metrics to key functions of the MLC Life Insurance business.
This role can be based in our North Sydney or Melbourne office with hybrid working options.
You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement and reporting of insightful and timely expense and performance information to enable decision making across the broader organisation.
In this role, you will focus on providing monthly reporting on expenses to key functions within the business, develop and broaden connection to full operational and performance metrics as well as completing budgeting, reports, and forecasts for relevant functions within MLC Life Insurance.
About You
- Tertiary qualification relevant to the role
- CA or CPA qualification
- 4 years’ experience within a Finance Business Partner role (experience within the Financial Services industry is highly regarded)
- Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Ability to work across different language/cultural and organisational styles
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Experience in management reporting
- Strong desire to learn and attention to detail
