About the Role:
As the Lifestyle & Wellbeing Coordinator at, you'll lead the charge in delivering Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Programs within our community. Your role extends to managing a dedicated team of recreational activity officers, ensuring the promotion of emotional and physical rehabilitation through tailored recreational activities that foster holistic well-being.
Duties Include:
- Effectively manage and lead a team of Recreational Activities Officers Provide personalised care, maintaining residents' skill levels, independence, and mobility, while offering respite support to their families/carers
- Collaborate with fellow team members to plan and organise recreational activity programs
- Ensure individual resident needs, values, and cultural preferences are respected and met
- Complete comprehensive assessments and adhere to infection control and work health and safety standards
- Desirable Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, with degree-level qualifications highly regarded Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within aged or community care settings
- Essential Senior First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated organisational prowess and time management skills
- Ability to problem-solve independently, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
