The Lifestyle Coordinator Residential Aged Care will be responsible for recognising and providing social and leisure interests, activities / therapies that are integral part of daily living activities and are an important human need. Encouragement and support to ensure a resident’s individual wellbeing is cared for has positive results / benefits for residents.
As our ideal candidate you will possess the following attributes
- Diploma (CHC53415) - of Leisure and Health or equivalent, or
- Completion 3rd year Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
- Substantial, broad experience in delivering a structured and diverse range of activities for residential aged care
- Effective communication skills ( written and oral), computer literacy and time management skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently as well as a team member
- Ability to work in a systematic, timely and accurate manner
- Complete Food Safety Training annually
Desirable:
- Certificate III Aged Care/Home and Community.
- Certificate: Basic First Aid
