About the role:
Our Light Vehicle mechanical division is currently in search for are dynamic individual who wants to take the next step in their career. Working with an intimate team we want a team player, someone who aspires to lead a team and be part of a large workshop also incorporated with the heavy vehicle team.

The role will require you to undertake the following.
Provide technical expertise and direction for workshop staff.
Lead all functions of the EVS workshop, including job allocation, stock control and work outcomes
Implement a safety culture and maintain the workshop and surrounds in line with HSE workshop industry standards
Develop systems to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are maintained at acceptable levels
Ensure all vehicles are serviced and repaired as scheduled or as required
Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and detailed
Be accountable for the workshop and maintenance of all equipment
Keep details of all incidents associated with vehicles
Ensure equipment is serviceable and in accordance with required quantities and standards
Investigate and resolve damages and complaints as required
Implement the training and procedures that are required to improve the business operations
Assist with programs that build and commission new or replacement service vans and decommission outgoing vans
Skills and Experience:
A relevant mechanical trade certificate along with current experience, skills and qualifications
Willing to lead a team.
Ability to work unsupervised.
A positive attitude to safety
Have good technical expertise and diagnostic skills.
