Working on behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
They are an Australian-owned and operated business and are looking to expand their business in the near future.
You will play a key role in the day to day operations of the workshop and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as their team grows.
This is a diverse role where you can be expected to perform tasks such as repairing brakes, clutches, head gaskets and engine replacements.

• Working Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays
• 9am-5pm 
• Full-time permanent work

Qualifications & Experience:

• Cert III in Light Vehicle motor repairs (Mechanical)
• 5+ years experience within the industry
• Experience in diagnostics, hydraulics, and servicing 
• Exposure to Diesel engines is desirable but not required
• AIS and AUVIS inspector accreditation 
• Valid Australian License 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Light vehicle service and repairs (Ranging from servicing to engine replacements)
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment 
• Ordering parts, liaising with suppliers and customers 
• Be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously

To be considered for this position you must have:

• Full working rights 
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment
• Be physically fit and able to pass a medical prior to employment
