Light Vehicle Mechanic Moranbah

Due to the growth and expansion of our Mechanical & Rentals Company we are seeking a qualified, experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our Service & Preventative Maintenance team. We are seeking a highly skilled trades person to maintain, service & repair the vehicles under our care.

If you have completed an apprenticeship in AUR30612 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent motor mechanical trade), are 2 years post trade with experience and are wanting a stable and secure career in the mechanical industry, then we are very interested in having you join our team.

You will perform a variety of maintenance & service tasks on a large range of vehicles from the residential, commercial & industrial sectors. You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor & complete all tasks as required. The role involves a "Hands On" approach for proactive maintenance, emergency breakdowns & service/repairs of all vehicles, specialising in 4WD mining vehicles. The role currently will be 5 Days/Week and is based in a modern workshop in Moranbah, Queensland.

You will have experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic with a high knowledge in maintaining & repairing a wide range of Light Vehicles, preferably with Toyota diagnostic experience.  This role requires a mix of preventative maintenance & repair skills in both minor servicing to major overhauls on all vehicles. Demonstrated knowledge working on fleet maintenance will be highly regarded.

• Fully Qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanical (AUR30612 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Equivalent);
• Current QLD Manual Drivers Licence;
• Clean Driving Record

• Ability to work within a paperless computer based scheduling & management system
• Ability to work autonomously at times
• Honesty, neat tidy appearance & a strong work ethic are highly regarded & will form part of the selection process
• Ability to train and mentor apprentices and technicians
• All Tools required for Job
• Own accommodation within Moranbah & Transport to/from work
