K&W Motor Service in Brisbane is looking for a Full Time 38 hours per week Automotive Motor Mechanic to join our team at our workshop in Slacks Creek Brisbane.

Successful candidate must be a skilled Motor Mechanic with a passion for repairing and restoring motor vehicles. Applicant must be self- motivated, results driven and a team player with exceptional mechanic knowledge, good communication skills, high level proficiency in the use of specific tools and techniques with an exceptional ability to manage time.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Vehicle servicing, diagnosis, and repair (mechanical),  however some electrical knowledge is also desirable.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, CV shafts, Drive belts, fuel/ and cooling system repairs.
• Use of diagnostic scanners, analyzers, and other modern workshop equipment
• Carrying out a wide range of diagnostic roles and completing repair orders to the manufacturers & dealership requirements.
• Provide a high level of customer satisfaction through professional servicing work.
• Organisation and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• While not necessary, it shall be desirable for the mechanic to also Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection.

Skill Required

• Australian Automotive Mechanic Trade Certificate Cert. III & IV. 
• Minimum of 2 year’s experience if possessing Australian automotive certificate III and IV in automotive or if not qualified then a minimum of ten year’s experience。as an automotive mechanic working on various makes and models of vehicles is required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Tyre & wheel alignment experience (an advantage).
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems is preferred.
• Must Hold a Valid Australian Driver's License.
• Ability to work in a team environment, but also must be able to work independently unsupervised.

Salary

A competitive salary depending on qualifications and experience in the range of $68,000 to $75,000 per year plus superannuation will be offered. Any additional work involving overtime will also be paid
