The Company

A well-known Corporate Bank with a growing branch presence in Australia, this bank has seen consistent growth in the Sydney market and are looking to bring a driven and technically skilled Line 1 Risk professional into their team. Playing a pivotal part in a highly visible risk project this role will challenge you, and give great exposure to a key risk uplift program within the bank.

The Role

As the Line 1 Risk specialist, you will play a key role in the risk uplift project for the bank. Your duties would include, but are not limited to:

· Assist in developing a comprehensive risk management framework

· Partner with the business to train and develop their business leaders

· Ensuring effective controls are in place and managed correctly

· Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of risk exposures and the rationale behind risk management decisions

Your Profile

Your profile is as follows:

• Strong banking/financial services risk experience.
• Prior risk experience in corporate or institutional banking.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
• Degree in Banking, Commerce, Law or related.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
