An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Rottnest Island General Store as the Liquor Manager, working and living on Rottnest Island where it’s beautiful one day, spectacular the next.
As Liquor Manager you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Liquor Department in store, leading your team to deliver an exceptional offering to our customers.
We are looking for not just a retailer but someone who is passionate about all things drink related and who can lead their team, who embraces change and can create a market leading offer for their local community.
This is a permanent full-timesalaried position offered with heavily subsidised accommodation to support the requirement to live on the Island.

Skills required
- Previous Liquor Store Manager experience or similar
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Exceptional customer service experience and merchandising ability
- Excellent knowledge of wines, beers, spirits and the liquor industry
- Financial acumen and experience in managing GP, sales, budgets and wages
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- RSA and Approved Manager
