MCK Lawyers is a boutique commercial law firm that provides legal services to insurers, local and international businesses and individuals in insurance, commercial law and business law.
We have a position available for a motivated lawyer to continue developing the skills and knowledge required to become a capable Litigation Lawyer.
You will work with a range of clients from small and medium sized businesses to multi national insurers, and get directly involved in challenging cases. You will have frequent contact with clients, prepare evidence and appear in the Local, District and Supreme Courts, the work is based out of our Sydney office working in all jurisdictions in Australia.
Skills and Qualifications
- Lawyer with at least 1 year post admission experience
- Experience in the Local Court and Magistrates' Courts in civil matters, insurance or commercial litigation is desirable
- Sound understanding of the fundamentals of tort and contract law
- Good analytical and communication skills
