Litigation Solicitor

Our firm and our Litigation Team continues to grow and consequently, an opportunity exists within our team for a Solicitor. We operate out of brand-new modern office; have excellent technology and we are highly involved in our local Gold Coast community.  

In the role, you will have the opportunity to run an extensive range of matters with a high level of autonomy but also have excellent support and mentoring as desired. 

The role will involve you undertaking:

• Full carriage of Litigation & Dispute Resolution matters including commercial litigation & general disputes, building & construction & body corporate disputes, debt recovery;
• Drafting documents, agreements, correspondence and advice;
• Court appearances at all levels (QCAT to Federal Court);
• The development of strategies to resolve simple and complex disputes on behalf of clients; and
• Being involved in networking, marketing strategies and business development. 

The candidate will:

• Be a solicitor with the ability to practice in Queensland and have experience in a variety of matters;
• Have a minimum 2 years working in a law firm;
• Have exceptional client and interpersonal communication skills;
• Be self-driven;
• Be willing to work within a team environment as we are a close and tight knit team; and
• Have good attention to detail and excellent technical skills.
