The Role
OMB Solicitors is a dynamic, progressive and busy firm based on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Our Litigation team is growing and consequently, we are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join the team on a full-time basis.
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role.
To be considered for the role, you should have: -
- Previous experience in a similar position;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
- Great organisational skills and a strong eye for detail;
- Confidence to liaise with professionals at all levels;
- LawMaster knowledge would be advantageous, however not essential;
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; and
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
In this role you will be responsible for: -
- Working with a Team Leader/Partner and other lawyers and support staff to assist with the day to day conduct of matters;
- Drafting documents to include court forms, legal documents, briefs, instructions and general correspondence;
- Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines and competing priorities;
- Looking after and managing clients;
- Conducting legal research;
- Cultivating strong relationships both internally and externally; and
- Ad hoc administration when required.
