We are a leading dispute resolution law firm with offices in Adelaide and London, focused on delivering innovative solutions. We are seeking a full-time or contract Litigation Technology Support Specialist to join our dynamic and highly experienced team of litigation support professionals.

The Role

You will be a key part of our team of outstanding legal and technology professionals bringing and defending complex legal claims in courts and tribunals across Australia and around the world.

Part of multi-disciplinary case teams, you will provide technical services, advice and support in relation to data processing, document management and e-discovery software, including Nuix Workstation and Discover software programs. 

Key tasks include:

  • Harnessing data from a variety of sources, including PST files, e-mail, voicemail,  social media, the cloud, shared server files and databases
  • Bulk OCRing documents, password decryption, recovering deleted items
  • Culling, de-duplicating and clustering data and generating detailed reports 
  • Exporting data to a variety of e-discovery platforms including (but not limited to): Discover and Relativity
  • Advising on the structure of and building databases and managing evidence including analysis, document comparison, reports, data manipulation 
  • Providing access and permissions to key document collections
  • Experience with CAL, analytics and predictive coding functions 
  • Developing scripts and automation
  • Assisting and training internal staff in the use of key software 
  • Providing support on legal technology projects as required
  • Preparation for hearings and trials including court room set up, document preparation including hard copy and electronic briefs, disclosure preparation, co-ordinating the imaging of documents in Discover

About You

  • You will be passionate about technology, have outstanding communication skills, a strong work ethic, an abundance of initiative and a desire to continue learning and building on your knowledge base  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in eDiscovery and/or IT at a law firm, in-house legal department and/or eDiscovery vendor
  • Degree qualified in Law, Information Technology, Computer Science OR a combination of relevant skills, qualifications and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of legal document management databases and analytics tools such as Nuix, Discover and/or Workstation, Relativity or other like products
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel
  • Electronic Trial experience and familiarity with electronic trial platforms
  • Experience and understanding of scripting and coding an advantage
  • Adelaide based but remote working will be considered
