4 x Permanent Full Time - 36 hours, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
Salary: Grade 8 - $68,580.52 to $74,923.82 + Super + Allowances
Liverpool City Council is looking for a Waste Operative to work in the Waste and Cleansing Department located at the Council’s Operation Center.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is responsible for the cleanliness of Liverpool City by way of removing waste, recycling, litter, bin servicing in a cost and time effective manner to the high-quality standard that our LGA is accustom too. Operation of plant and equipment associated with the management and collection of illegally dumped waste.
Working in a safe manner and ensuring compliance with the WHS Act, RMS rules and regulations, Council Safety policies and procedures and in accordance with relevant industry codes of practice.

ABOUT YOU.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:
- HR Drivers Licence
- General Construction WHS (White Card)
- Implement Traffic control and Implement Traffic control plans tickets (or in the process of obtaining them)
- Demonstrated truck driving experience.
- Experience in waste removal.
- Experience in the operation of Rear End Load Garbage Compactor
