About the role
We are looking for a leader to assume responsibility for an area of up to 40 residents as one of the Living Well House Managers. It is your personal qualities and attitude along with a strong customer service ethos and ability to relate to the elderly which will set you apart for this exciting and important role.
This non–clinical leadership role is responsible for their assigned care team and is the first point of contact for residents and their loved ones.
With support from the clinical team and your Residential Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead your team within your House to provide our residents with the best quality of life outcomes.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Coordinating the day-to-day activities of your allocated House to ensure a smooth-running, homelike environment
- Monitoring all non-clinical key quality indicators to ensure targets are met where appropriate
- Supporting and providing direction to all Living Well House team members and those working within your area
- Facilitating individual and small group activities that give residents meaning and purpose as they choose
- Hands-on mentoring, coaching and support to the team as required
- Working collaboratively with the clinical leads to provide support and care to individual residents
- Being the first point of contact for residents’ families and loved ones – to welcome new admissions and build relationships with the resident and their families to enable them to feel part of our home
- Assume the responsibility of a specialised portfolio with Admissions
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards.

- A current National Police Clearance
