Role Overview
The Sales Manager, Fairmont Homes, is a key member of the Fairmont Group Management Team and is accountable for the effective leadership, management, and operational delivery of the retail sales function.
Responsible for top-line growth of retail housing revenue, this role will develop and execute revenue growth strategies across the product range offering, and oversee the full retail sales life cycle from lead generation, to sale and contract execution.
Critically, the role will play an essential role in production from sale to contract, management of cancellation risk, ensuring accuracy in product pricing and contract presentation for execution within the expected duration targets prior to commencement of the planning phase.
Additionally, they will actively explore opportunities in the land and development market, promoting Fairmont's retail housing offering through their leadership, profile, and product knowledge. Managing the display portfolio in the market, they will also identify new display opportunities and ensure that all physical assets in the market are presented to a high standard.
Key to success in the role will be the achievement of identified performance, customer, and people KPI’s in line with the company’s vision and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver lead generation strategies, including marketing initiatives and execution, contract management and financial management
- Design and implement pricing strategies to convert sales to contract
- Develop and implement sustainable systems and processes that support efficient management of workflow from contract through to approvals, selections, and finance ready for commencement on site
- Lead a team of Sales Consultants and the Sales Administration team and develop a commercial and performance-based culture
- Drive a strong customer service experience and implement systematic communication channels to measure positive customer experience
- Manage the display portfolio by ensuring physical assets in market are presented to a high standard at all times and identifying new display opportunities to stay relevant in the market
About the Person
- Extensive experience in a senior sales role in the housing and construction industry
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of the building and construction industry
- Demonstrated skills in communicating, monitoring and reaching sales targets and milestones
- Ability to motivate and develop teams of people
- Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional negotiation ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strategic thinker, focused on continuous improvement and delivering outcomes
