Load and Capacity Testers for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in ACT.
Testing Services Requirements:The following high-level types of testing and activities will be required.
- Performance, Stress and Volume Test planning and execution
- Stress and Volume Test execution
- Develop and present Test Summary Reports
- Support Performance Tuning activities
- Support development of in-house testing capability
- Support remediation activities requiring test
- Performance validation of new systems and/or major changes to systems; and
- Contribute to system design to proactively optimise system performance

- Able to write customs scripts to integrate with a range of AEC systems, including those listed in ‘Typical Systems to be tested’, above.
- The respondent will test using a load testing tool including the ability to supply more than 15,000 users concurrently to stress test AEC systems.
- Generate test data sets for testing appropriate to the system.
- Test systems both inside and outside of the AEC’s normal business hours so not to impact business users and infrastructure.
- Perform multiple cycles and iterations of testing.
- Perform ‘business process recovery’ and ‘virtual tally room’ testing.
- Perform knowledge transfer of the testing processes involved such as supplying video overview and documentation for each of the tests, as needed.
- Provide guidance on system target benchmarks and throughput.
- Attend regular meetings with project management teams, stakeholders, technical resources.
- Track, audit, log and report the inputs and outputs to each of the system being tested.
Capability:
- Has experience and can provide scripts which will need to connect to thick client systems using either Application Programming Interface (API) or User Interface (UI) based protocols, depending on the nature of the system being tested.
- Has a wide range of testing capabilities connecting to web-based applications, where scripts will have to handle either HTTP (Protocol-based), or Browser based scripting.
- Has the ability to conduct Load and Capacity tests of both standalone systems and integrated systems where there is workflow linking multiple systems.
- Has the ability to receive, track, log and analyse an external email inbox capable of handling upto 600,000 emails in a 24 hour period.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse test results and produce test report after each system has been tested.
