They would like to appoint a Business Development Executive to join their existing state sales team, to focus on their Agricultural customers.
What’s the role?
In this Business Development Executive role, you’ll be dealing with a broad range of customers from all walks of life, from corporate companies to sole traders looking to sell/purchase machinery. With a strong brand presence and a database of existing leads, you’ll be able to keep busy from the get go by being out on the road, visiting customers and promoting our clients services.
You’ll be fully supported with a comprehensive onboarding programme as well as direct guidance and training from your Sales Manager, to train you up for success. You’ll be selling auction service-based solutions to your Agricultural clients so you’ll be given all the tools and product training, whilst being given trust and autonomy to get the job done.
In the role you’ll spend 70% of the time out with customers, and be given the flexibility to work remotely when not on the road. You’ll log your sales activities with customers in their CRM and your Sales Manager will be on-hand to answer any queries whilst you get up and running after your induction and initial training.
What skills and experience do I need?
You’ll need experience within the Agricultural market, selling products or services into this sector. You’ll need to be a relationships person who understands the customers in the agriculture sector and is able to build connections with those customers and nurture a pipeline for future business opportunities. Candidates that have sold Agriculture Finance/Insurance/Equipment or services into this sector are highly encouraged to apply.
You’re confident in proactive business development and hunting new business, and you’re customer centric in your approach and care about finding the right solution for your clients.
