We have an exciting opportunity for a Confirmation and Load Planning Officer to join our team in Wetherill Park.Reporting to the Trade Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for being the primary point of contact for customers seeking to confirm deliveries for load production tonnes to plant within the Wetherill Park business in accordance with strategies advised by management. Orders that are confirmed on loads will become necessary for Production on Demand.

The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for confirming achievable confirmed production tonnes prior to delivery
  • Monitor customer orders that are late, urgent or error rectifications and deemed urgent or priority by management to ensure completion and loading by existing facilities
  • Ensure all commitments on Error Rectifications and Urgent Orders are communicated to and agreed by Operations Manager/Shift Supervisors and Load Scheduler to ensure delivery commitments are met
  • Liaise with Operations Manager to when necessary determine manpower, resources, equipment and inventory is needed to cover production demand
  • Follow up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectations
  • Ensure production plan is consistent with customer/order priority considering times requested/required, tonnage and load configuration
  • Closely monitor incoming orders (tonnes) for data availability, based on work mix, production availability, machinery breakdowns and time sensitive customer orders
  • Liaise extensively with Shift Supervisors and other management, to ensure adherence to scheduled production plans for first and second runs
  • Liaise with relevant stake holders the successful management of late orders or orders outside of scheduled production plan
