Bis Industries is now recruiting for a skilled and experienced Loader Operator to join our team down at our Norske Skog operations (just outside of Hobart) in the New Norfolk/Boyer region.We are looking for people who not only care about their job, but their gear as much as we do. You will be operating mobile plant loaders moving product (wood) into processing (chipping) machinery. You may also be required to operate other equipment as required at site, depending on your qualifications and experience.
Requirements for the role:
- Current RII for Loader (under 5 years old)
- Current HR Drivers License.
- Previous experience operating loaders and accessories within a timber, quarrying, or mining production environments.
- Operation of Loaders loading timber into chipping machinery in a variety of on and off-road conditions.
- Operate a variety of mobile plant and machinery as qualified and trained to do so.
- Demonstrated commitment to our goal of Zero Harm (for our people and our equipment)
- Commitment to all site safety standards and requirements
- Completion of pre-starts, care & maintenance of mobile plant.
