Form of workLocated at our Benalla Manufacturing Site within our Outback area, this position reports to the Outback/Flaking Manager and works within a team to process wood products for our wood fiber and recycling process which is used to manufacture particleboard products.
The position
This position works within a team to process recycled wood products for our wood fiber and recycling process. This position will be responsible for machine, loader and forklift operation in an efficient manner whilst ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
This position is a salaried position and works on a 12-hour 24/7 rotating shift roster with opportunities for overtime available.
Desirably the successful application will have:
- Willingness to learn.
- Experience operating front end loader.
- Loader License preferred but not essential.
- Ability to safely perform manual labour tasks, lifting & pushing.
- Ability to perform quality control inspections against product standards.
- Ability to operate large mechanical equipment & mechanical aptitude.
- Understanding of Safe Work Practices / OH&S legislation
- Well-developed communication skills, written & verbal, numeracy skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Class C drivers' license and Forklift License .
