The Company
Work for a leading global retail company at their head office located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. You will be part of a supportive and warm culture, with access to an on site cafe and free parking!!!
The Role
Reporting into a Senior Manager, you will be highly responsible for coordinating mail room duties and assisting with Loading Dock operations.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Handle freight cages and trolleys
- Sort and distribute store mail into appropriate pigeon holes
- Manage general deliveries for the entire office
- Consign parcels interstate and overseas
- Coordinate couriers for dispatches and deliveries
- Perform manual handling requirements in Loading Dock
- Allocate incoming goods to relevant departments
- Liaising with internal departments regarding mail collection
What do we need from you?
The successful candidate will require the following:
- Proven experience working in a mailroom / Loading Dock / warehouse/logistics/ admin position in a fast paced environment
- Ability to operate equipment required for safe handling of stock
- A self-starter and strong organisational skills
- The ability to problem solve and create solutions
- Enthusiasm and a professional "can-do" attitude
