Loadout Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Loadout Supervisor to join a leader in export meat processing. The Loadout Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the efficient compilation and dispatch of orders in accordance with instructions, ensuring product inventory rotation, minimizing carton damage, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Corporate Shipping and Plant Production Managers to ensure orders are compiled and dispatched as per instructions.
• Minimize interruptions to boning room production in conjunction with boning room manager/supervisors.
• Monitor and suggest remedies to prevent damaged cartons, shipping delays, and damage to pallets.
• Maintain approved manning levels and ensure direct labor costs are within budget.
• Lead, supervise, train, and counsel employees to ensure maximum productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure operations are conducted in a manner that prioritizes employee health and safety.
• Complete all necessary data entry and documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure product specifications and yields meet required standards.

• At least three (3) years' experience within an export meat processing operation.
• At least two (2) years' supervisory experience in an export loadout/warehousing environment.
• Sound working knowledge of product specifications/cuts associated with export processing.
• Demonstrated personal qualities of reliability, commitment, and leadership.

• Accreditation as a Cert IV workplace assessor and/or trainer.
• Sound working knowledge of customer product specifications.
