Gardening Supervisor (PPT or Casual)

We are currently seeking a Gardening Supervisor to join our team. Our Gardening Supervisors work with people with disability within our Property Care Team located in Northam and surrounds.
About the Role
You will assist our Property Care employees with their employment within the team. This involves encouraging independence building, helping people with a disability develop their skills in gardening and maintenance of lawns.
The role will be based in Northam, but you will be required to travel in the surrounding area.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- An understanding of providing support to people with disability support
- Capable of providing direct support to individuals through assistance, support, coaching, mentoring and training in gardening and lawn maintenance.
- Possess an interest in gardening with a desire to equip and enable other team members to perform gardening tasks to the required standard.
- Ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
- Ability to establish and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to working within an ethical and service focused environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be respectful of privacy.
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Current driver’s license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working With Children Check.
- National Police Clearance
It is desirable if you currently hold or are willing to acquire though our organisation the following units of competency:
- AHCCHM304 -Transport and Store Chemicals.
- AHCPMG301 - Control Weeds
- AHCCHM307 - Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases
- ATO004 -Aquatic Technical Operator
- Certificate in Horticulture
