Position Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic person to join our team in Mandurah in a 4 day per week permanent role. This role is a unique blend of responsibilities, combining facilities and staff management, case management, program support and stakeholder engagement. 0.4 FTE of this role will be in the position of Location Manager spread across the 4 day week, and 0.4FTE of the role in the position of Child and Family Practitioner in our 4families program, also spread across the 4 day week. Key Responsibilities
1. Location Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Mandurah office facilities.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for all clients and visitors.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment for all staff.
- Line manage and mentor our dedicated customer service team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient front-desk operations.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address any facility-related issues promptly.
- Line manage a team of skilled counsellors in a supportive way and facilitate smooth and productive operation of the RAWA Counselling program in the Mandurah location
- Provide ongoing support, and performance evaluations for customer service staff and counsellors.
- Build strong relationships with local community organisations, schools, and government agencies.
2. Child and Family Practitioner – 4families program
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments: in partnership with clients identify their needs and clarify goals with a focus on addressing clients’ hopes and aspirations and ascertaining their strengths and resources;
- Provide therapeutic intervention sessions with children, young people and families as per client assessment;
- Provide case management services to parents and their children, young people or other family members;
- Provide family capacity building and support to parents in their parenting role.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (required).
- Proven experience in management
- Significant practical experience in working with children and families
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for community development and social impact.
