We are seeking an individual who is dedicated to providing compassionate care and assessment services to our diverse clientele.
Position Overview: As a Locum Psychologist specialising in intake, triage, and risk assessment, you will play a crucial role in our mental health team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting intake assessments to gather essential information about clients' mental health history, concerns, and goals.
- Performing thorough risk assessments to identify potential safety concerns and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborating with other mental health professionals to provide timely and effective triage services for clients in crisis.
- Providing evidence-based interventions and referrals based on clients' needs and assessment outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
Qualifications:
- Registration as a general psychologist or above with AHPRA
- Experience conducting intake assessments, triage services, and risk assessments in a mental health setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
