We are actively seeking an ACT based Logistics Manager in a permanent and full time capacity. The role is available immediately and as a result we will be conducting interviews ASAP.
Job Description
- Contribute to the development of methodology, processes, tools, and management systems required for the operations planning, maintenance, engineering, supply support, production and other technical and support elements for complex ADF systems.
- Assist with planning the requirements, design and implementation of logistics data system capabilities and support infrastructure enhancements required for ADF systems.
- Perform governance duties on logistics inventory management activities in accordance with the Electronic Supply Chain Manual.
- Deliver logistics inventory management using information management systems and responding to inventory requests.
- Draft responses to correspondence, briefs, and reports on logistics inventory management activities.
- Understand inventory management to provide straightforward advice to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A current AGSVA Defence Security clearance.
- Previous experience as a Quartermaster or Fleet Manager (or similar) within ADF.
- Extensive experience with MILIS, LSA and ERP management.
- Prior experience in leading teams of logistics professionals.
- The ability to shape and influence across a nationally distributed non-Logistic focussed military environment.
