About the role:
The primary function of the Logistics Planning and Innovation Manager is responsible for managing the logistic planning to optimise the network and maximise efficiency across all transport and warehouse activity. Working with SEAU 3PL partners to improve efficiency through effective planning and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning and Innovation
- Liaise closely with Supply Chain Managers to support their future forecast models
- Work with the 3PL providers to ensure they have necessary resource to manage volume and optimise network.
- Provide all seasonal volume metrics and capability plans
- Identify commercial opportunities and support through metrics / detailed analysis
- Provide ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing saving projects and tracing costs back to underlying activities.
- Partner with the 3PLs to ensure SOPs are followed while meeting KPIs and costs
- Creation and management of a reporting suite analysing current and historical performance trend.
- Drive process and cost efficiency internally and with our 3PL providers
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
