Description
- Schedule and coordinate international freight movements, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Prepare shipping documentation such as packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates for international export cargoes.
- Assist in the customs clearance process for import shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain shipping registers and files in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure orders are shipped expeditiously and in compliance with contractual terms.
- Coordinate product reviews to determine transportation requirements, including packaging, labelling, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and service providers.
- Generate purchase requisitions for freight-related invoices.
Profile
We seek candidates with Australian logistics experience, ideally from a freight forwarding background you will have strong local and international logistics knowledge, especially in shipping. While exposure to the oil and gas industry is advantageous, it's not essential. Familiarity with SAP and Excel is essential, along with at least five years of FCPA experience or working knowledge within a logistics environment. Customs brokerage experience desirable.
Applicants must have full Australian working rights as this is a permanent role with full time hours.
