About the Role
Our firm is seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Specialist to support both our solar wholesale and commercial business at our Bibra Lake office.
The Procurement & Logistics Specialist is responsible for the provision of procurement and purchasing services along with logistical support to facilitate end to end procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor plans and strategies for cost-effective and timely purchasing, storage and distribution of stock.
- Develop demand plans & control stock levels at all our locations.
- Liaise with vendors and prepare contracts to keep control over prices, quality, lead times, special campaigns and delivery requirements.
- Maintain performance records on vendors and enhance vendor management processes.
- maintain and review inventory and storage systems to optimise stock quantity at all warehouses based on sales analysis.
- Ensure timely placement of orders and deliveries through expert use of recording and tracking systems.
- Liaise with customers, logistics partners and internal team members from sales, finance, and operations to get a 360degree view of the business needs and identify the requirements for outbound products and their transportation.
- Monitor and manage our logistics partners and control our freight costs
- Oversee the recording or purchase, storage and distribution transactions to generate management reports highlighting key Procurement & Logistics data indicators.
- Participate in both national and international online procurement meetings
- Adhere to corporate compliance policies
- Monitor market & policy developments in the renewable energy industry
Qualifications/Experience
- At least 5 years experience in similar role, including international experience
- Qualification in Procurement & Logistics
- Experience in product and category management
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- German language skills desirable

Salary package for this role is $80,000 - $ 85,000 per year plus superannuation
