Salvos Stores are seeking to employ a Logistics Supervisor to lead the Transport and Distribution team based out of our Thornton Warehouse in Newcastle This varied role presents a strong platform for a talented supply/warehouse professional seeking to enhance their skills and build a career in the Not

For Profit sector; ABOUT THE ROLE Overseeing and managing the efficient and cost-effective collection, receiving, sorting, storage and distribution of all stock and orders at both the warehouse and Stores. Managing and supervising the day-to-day activity and performance of a team of 30 (approx); Managing warehouse and distribution facility including stock control, waste disposal maintenance, security, open/close; and, coordinating transport fleet and forklift maintenance and servicing; Leading WHS compliance; Maintaining a high level of customer service through continuous communication with external and internal stakeholders.
