Reporting into the Merchandise Operations Manager and based at the loading dock, the Team Leader is an integral part within the Logistics team ensuring a streamlined operational and seamless optimisation process is delivered of stock flow into the store.
This role is hands-on and will require you to effectively unload and unpack deliveries, prepare stock for the merchandise team to transfer from dock to floor whilst ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards are met.
You will coach and guide your team with safe and efficient logistics, replenishment, and online fulfilment practices and ensuring the coordination of day-to-day operations are delivered in a seamless execution. Furthermore, you will develop and engage with your dedicated team and lead by example with exceptional customer service skills, strong organisation skills and ability to multi-task.
This is a permanent position from Monday - Friday with an early morning start of 6:30am until 3pm.
Your Background:

• Demonstrated experience in dock-to-floor logistics, replenishment procedures and exposure to online order fulfilment
• Supervisory and / or people leadership experience is essential
• Knowledge to use a Walkie Stacker and Certified to use an Electric Pallet Jack is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with a commitment of undertaking and promoting safe work practices
• Communication skills along with time management, prioritisation and problem solving skills
• Passion for customer service and a love of retail!
