Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role ensures the fulfilment and maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs) for both internal and external customers in the Distribution Centre (DC). Additionally, the role involves implementing safety frameworks, compliance measures, and standard work procedures (SWPs), while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement across the DC and HQ facility
The day to day
- Protect throughput and honour our SLAs to all customers, internally and externally:
- Allocate team rosters according to projected throughput and budgets
- Labour scheduling based on predefined requirements and analysing last minute requests to roster to deliver, ensuring to maintain a 1.5% labour ratio and overtime below 2%
- Engage in monthly 1:1’s with supervisors and TLs and quarterly with FT team. This includes succession planning, performance management and role development.
- Develop and implement our safety framework for both HQ Office and DC
- Monitor, develop and review all SWPs, RAs and safety plans in the workplace, keep it up to date and make sure all team is signed off and following standard procedures
- Create and monitor maintenance schedules for all things facility to ensure quality of service hired, taking into account our current and future facility requirements prior to action
- Create schedules for all consumable products in our facility
