Sedgman Mackay is seeking a mechanically minded, customer-focused individual for the role of Lubrication Technician in their Reliability team.

This DIDO, on-site role is crucial for keeping everyday tasks running smoothly, improving equipment performance and optimising productivity.
You'll be assigned key sites with a roster aligned to them, conducting a wide range of activities associated with fixed plant lubrication and inspections.
Experience the convenience of our carpool system for travel. This on-site role requires a keen interest in hands-on work and the flexibility to embrace 12-hour shifts.

Primary Duties:
Ensuring proper storage and organisation of lubricants.
Efficiently dispensing lubricants as needed for equipment.
Overseeing the functionality and maintenance of automatic lubrication systems.
Regularly inspecting and maintaining optimal lubricant levels for various machinery.
Collecting oil samples for analysis to assess equipment health.
Facilitating environmentally responsible disposal of used oils and lubricants.
Examining data and offering recommendations based on oil analysis results.
Participating in projects where lubrication functions are required.
Recognising areas for improvement in lubrication processes.
Contribute to the development of lubrication strategies across the Sedgman sites.
Who are you?
While formal qualifications are not mandatory, previous experience is preferred.
Candidates with experience as Trade Assistants have demonstrated success in similar roles.
Mechanically minded, hardworking, and reliable.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Agility and flexibility to navigate various work environments.
