About the position
Parliament NSW has embarked on a significant undertaking in the Digital Transformation space, including delivering new applications, migrating network users to Cloud platforms and multiple audio-visual projects.
The M365 Platform Specialist is responsible for managing and enhancing the Parliament of NSW’s M365 environment, providing a blend of analysis, solution implementation and testing to ensure the applications are configured and aligned to our business need and can drive efficiency and improvement.
About you
We are seeking an experienced M365 Platform Specialist, particularly for SharePoint and MS Teams. You will have extensive knowledge and experience in managing an M365 environment, with a thorough understanding of configurations and best practice recommendations. You will be the subject matter expert for M365 and will be able to provide advice, training and support when required.
You will work closely with Project Managers and Change Managers in Digital Transformation and IT Services to identify pain points, investigate issues and identify, test and implement solutions. You will also make recommendations for future enhancements and provide expert BAU guidance where required.
As you are working closely with Project Managers, to be successful in this role you will have knowledge of and experience using project management methodologies (including agile) and have highly developed prioritisation and time management skills. Strong communication and high standards of customer service are essential to succeed in this role.
