ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking an experienced and driven Microsoft Power Platform Developer/Specialist to lead our systems application modernisation project in an exciting stand-alone role. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, this role will design, develop and deploy Meditrax’s internal business systems using the Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools and Azure. 

This is a full time role engaged on a 6 month contract. This role has access to hybrid work arrangements, with a blend of work from home and work from our conveniently located office in Drummoyne. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Design solutions based on business requirements and provide input regarding maximising the capabilities of Power Platform
• Advise on how best to employ Power Platform to automate manual business processes
• Develop Meditrax’s custom application, workflows and automation solutions using Power Apps and other relevant tools
• Design and implement data models, connectors, and integrations with other systems using Power Platform tools
• Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Configure, customise and test applications to ensure they meet specifications
• Document designs and provide technical documentation for solutions
• Enable and support the transition to the newly modernised system, including the migration of data and support and training for users
• Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are of high quality
• Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users

ABOUT YOU

• Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI data modelling and Dataverse
• Proven experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Experience creating both Model driven and Canvas driven Power Apps
• Strong understanding of data connectors, APIs, and integration capabilities within the Power Platform
• Solid understanding of modern software development principles and best practices
• Solid data management skills, including validation, interpretation, transformation and manipulation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Full project lifecycle experience
• Familiarity with Azure services and Office 365 integration is a plus

• a comprehensive range of Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) documentation

• lifestyle activities according to the specific needs of the residential aged care facility

These QUM activities support and assist residential aged care facilities in meeting the Accreditation Standards.

When conducting site visits,Meditrax will be on site for a full day, providing education, attendance at Medication Advisory Committee (MAC) meetings and availability for consultation of medication issues.
