Form of work Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking experienced Asphalt Batchers and Quarry operators for our client in West Burleigh. Our client is a leader in the aggregates, crushed rock, sands, and gravel material industry - with these roles operating in a quarry environment. Successful applicants can expect to work within a well-established team, for a large company with great opportunities for personal development and career growth. Duties include:
Safe operation of Large Excavators or Front-End Loaders (if Certified)
Loading and Unloading materials
Manual Handling and Heavy lifting
Adhering to all safety guidelines/pre-start checks
Basic machinery maintenance and housekeeping duties
Involvement in site meetings, toolbox talks, hazard-reduction initiatives
About you:
Demonstrable experience in a similar or identical role essential
RII Competencies are essential - Roller, Excavators and Front-end Loaders
Current driver's license and reliable transportation
Can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and ability to work independently.
Industry knowledge is beneficial.
'Safety-first' mindset and a willingness to learn and upskill.
HR license
