As part of our newly created AI team, the Machine Learning (AWS) Engineer role will implement and maintain the training/fintune/distillation/deployment pipelines for NLP, CV & Audio models in a cloud environment.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and maintain the training/fintune/distillation/deployment pipelines for NLP/CV/Audio models in a cloud environment, particularly AWS.
- Prepare, QC, maintain the AI dataset.
- Help AI engineers develop, design and optimize state-of-the-art models utilizing LLM/CV techniques.
ABOUT YOU
- Full Australian working rights without restriction
- 5+ years of industry/research experience is necessary, with a focus Deep Learning MLOps Engineering.
- A degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
- Expert Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and deploying NLP models in a cloud environment.
- Solid understand of AWS basics such as IAM, VPC, subnet, security groups, EC2, load balancer, S3, AWS SDK etc.
- Hands on experience in SageMaker, especially in AI model deployment and inference
- Experience in CloudFormation, Terraform & CDK
- Knowledge in CI/CD such as GitHub actions, AWS CodePipeline
- Ability to self-learn new AWS services when required
- Knowledge of container (i.e. Docker and Podman), Cloud System monitoring and maintenance
- Solid proficiency in various programming languages and platforms however excellent knowledge of Linux is a must.
