CSR Masonry & Insulation comprises of Bradford Insulation, PGH Bricks and Monier Roofing. We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications including a broad range of products and systems that cover insulation, ventilation, solar, bricks and rooftiles.
The Opportunity
This role is the Night Shift which is from 10.50pm to 6.50am, Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will be required to have a mechanical aptitude, be keen to multi-skill, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for safety.
About You:
This role is best suited for someone with a mechanical or technical background who enjoys working indoors with machinery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating various machines to produce the insulation products to commercial standard
- Set up machines at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order
- Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during production procedures
- Maintain safe work & operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping during production
- Minor troubleshoot problems during machine operation
- Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
Skill and Experience:
- Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry (warehousing or large manufacturing environment)
- A strong commitment to safety awareness
- Willingness to learn and absorb new information and skills
- Commitment to ongoing training and self-development
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability
- Be adaptable and flexible
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
