The Opportunity
We are looking for someone who can work supporting our Converting team, helping to get products converted to customer requirements.
The successful candidates will have proven experience working in a store environment, ability to use computers, pick & pack product ready for despatch and good comunciation skills. Rewinder & Slitting machine experience not critical but desirable. We will provide training on this. Shift: 08:00 am to 04:00 pm.
Key Accountabilities:
- Running rewinding and slitting machines
- Pick, Pack & Stage product for despatch
- Liaise with Couriers & our Customer Service team
- Cleaning and organizing production areas
- Checking machines to ensure proper working condition
- Ensuring final product conforms to standards
- Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as they arise
What you'll need to succeed:
- Machine Operator Experience (desirable but training would be provided)
- Forklift Licence
- Effective problem solving and communication skills
- High attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot minor tasks
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team, fit in to learn and follow instructions
- Candidates must have a desire to learn and the ability to work safely in producing a quality product
