The Role
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Day Shift , Afternoon Shift & Night Shift, Production Machine Operator working in FMCG manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be trained in setting, operating, adjusting and maintaining Coating machines, ensuring production levels meets scheduled requirements and product quality conforms to established specifications.

- Work effectively within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills in understanding both verbal and written instructions, and to update production data using the Windows-based operating system
- Organisational skills with proven ability to apply problem solving and decision-making skills within a production environment
- Willingness to learn new processes & procedures; a strong mechanical aptitude is a distinct advantage
- Proven ability to work both co-operatively and independently in a team environment with the potential to develop team leadership capabilities
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety work practices and proven ability to operate and comply with hygiene and quality standards in a food manufacturing environment
- Trade qualified Motor Mechanics or experienced Machine operators are encouraged to apply.
- Vision system experience
- Must have a Fork-Lift Licence
Duties will include, although not limited to:
- Operate complex manufacturing equipment - High speed Line
- Troubleshooting, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance of equipment
- Batch processing of critical production components and associated GMP documentation
- Quality control activities and completing required GMP documentation
- Working to the production schedule to meet all production metrics
- Operate machine in accordance with job instructions and standard operating procedures
- Monitor machine and process performance identifying product faults, adjusting machine settings in accordance with product and quality specifications
- Record production data such as product output and quality according to standard operating procedures
- Forklift driving
