About the role
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor (based Reservoir, VIC) you will be responsible for the optimal running, monitoring, and troubleshooting of plant and equipment within the paper making operations. Including winding and finishing, quality control, recycled fibre plant and Distributed Control System (DCS).
This is a critical and hands on role in maximising the efficiency of the plant and equipment and ensuring it is operated within set standards and parameters to achieve production targets, whilst always maintaining a strong safety focus.
Duties

- Your will be a confident communicator and problem solver and thrive on utilising your initiative to get things done. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team and your positive attitude where no task is too small, and a passion to learn new skills, processes and procedures will fit right into the team.
- Whilst previous experience working within a manufacturing environment, hands on experience operating machinery and a trade or technical qualification would be highly regarded your can-do attitude, drive for results and problem-solving ability will ultimately see you succeed.
- These are incredible and dynamic opportunities!! This position is on a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 days off covering 24-hour operations – working only 149 days out of a year. They will provide training, career opportunities and a highly competitive salary.
