The opportunity

Operating as Black Bag Roasters we have a purpose-built facility with state-of-the-art equipment.  This site is a monumental milestone for Nomad Coffee Group and positions the company for some exciting growth.

We are looking for motivated professionals people who want to be a part of our new chapter. You’ll be responsible for ensuring efficiency with our fully automated equipment to ensure we maintain the highest safety and quality standards in a high-volume environment.

This is permanent full-time role, with a 10am to 6pm shift Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work an AM and/or PM shift may be required in order to cover leave.
 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Operating automated Rovema equipment, maintaining a continuous flow of product, including case packer and pallitiser.
• Preparing and completing accurate records.
• Cleaning and housekeeping.
• Committed to safety and quality assurance and completion of safety/ quality checks as required.
• Assist with production staging.

What skills and knowledge do I need?

• A mechanically-minded individual with a high aptitude in automated equipment/technology operation.
• An understanding of SQF, HACCP and GMP with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment, exposure to Rovema packing machines would be highly regarded, however not essential.
• Committed to quality in a high-volume environment.
• Follow policy, procedures, and instructions.
• Confidence using technology & systems.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
• Forklift licence is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to your role with proven reliability.
