We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to operate our Press Machines. Job Summary:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our Press Machines to produce high-quality steel products. Your precision and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring the machines run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical understanding of Press Machines and a commitment to safety and quality. Standard hours are Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm with some overtime on offer from time to time.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Press Machines according to production requirements
Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary maintenance on the machines
Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during production
Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily production targets
Comply with all safety guidelines and company policies
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably with Press Machines or similar equipment
Technical understanding of press machine operations and mechanics
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when necessary
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
Must have forklift license
Commitment to safety protocols and a clean working environment
Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility for overtime during busy periods
